2015 National SBIR/STTR Conference

Research-based small businesses and supporting organizations who are new to the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program may find value in attending the 2015 National SBIR/STTR Conference.
The conference will feature presentations from SBIR agency representatives as well as from accountants and legal experts who have valuable advice to offer on how to develop proposals that are strong in the work plan, budget discussion, and plan for protecting new intellectual property in commercial market.
The event will be held at the Gaylord Hotel & Convention Center in National Harbor, Md., from June 15-17. Advance registration rates will be available through May 27. The conference is being held in parallel with the National Innovation Summit and Showcase. Industry focus areas for the summit include Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Materials, Energy & Sustainability, Electronics and Microsystems, Biotech, and Medical & Pharma, among others.
Half-day SBIR workshops and TechConnect Industry Impact workshops are available for those who want to benefit from a deeper dive into key topics related to the SBIR/STTR program as well as trends in the state of the art. Details about these event offerings can be found here.
