Webber Medical Complex

Dr. David Webber already operated a practice in Marianna and West Helena, but he wanted the community of Forrest City to have another choice in quality health care. Webber envisioned a conveniently located place where patients would not have to drive across several counties to visit specialists and other caring health professionals.

First National Bank of Eastern Arkansas referred Dr. Webber to Phil Harris, UALR SBDC Business Consultant. Harris began working with Dr. Webber to fine tune his loan proposal and develop cash flow projections for submission back to the bank for an SBA-guaranteed loan. After numerous phone conferences between Harris, the bank and the client, SBA funded the loan.

The Webber Medical Complex, now fully operational, includes two partners, Dr. Susan W. Balke and Dr. Akhilesh Rao, in addition to a network of support doctors. The clinic's flexible and extended hours allow working people the ability to obtain quality healthcare without having to take time off the job.
