ARPA-E Looking to Fund Energy Ideas

The Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy was created in 2007 to “identify the most urgent challenges the U.S. faces in maintaining leadership in key areas of science and technology.” Since 2009, ARPA-E has funded over 400 potentially transformational energy technology projects.
ARPA-E Request for Information
ARPA-E has issued a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the development of next-generation occupancy sensors that offer more effective technologies for reducing the energy required to heat and cool buildings. To view the full RFI, click here.

ARPA-E announced $60 million in funding for two new programs:
- NEXT-Generation Energy Technologies for Connected and Automated on-Road vehicles (NEXTCAR)
