When Jackson and Brittany Rogers wanted to purchase Williams Saw Company, they turned to the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Henderson State University.
After acquiring the business in the fall, Jackson and Brittany changed the business’s name to 2 Strokes Saw and Small Engine.
Located in Arkadelphia, the shop sells and repairs a variety of small engine products, and its showroom is stocked with lawn care equipment and parts, power saws, and ATVs. In addition, 2 Strokes services outdoor power equipment, power saws, boat motors, personal watercraft engines, and ATVs.
The Rogerses worked with Brandon Horvath, HSU ASBTDC business consultant, to prepare a detailed business plan and financial projections to present to Southern Bancorp.
“Working with Jackson and Brittany to acquire Williams Saw Company was an excellent journey. Jackson and Brittany proved to be passionate about purchasing the business and have big plans to continue serving the Clark County community,” said Horvath.
“By utilizing the HSU ASBTDC we were able to make better decisions while acquiring Williams Saw Company. With their assistance, we were able to put together a business plan and a set of financial projections that accurately indicated the future of 2 Strokes Saw and Small Engine,” said Jackson Rogers.
