Discover Virtual Reality at EAC Open House

The Emerging Analytics Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will host an Open House Oct. 16–17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Attendees will have a chance to explore and experience projects under development in the areas of virtual and augmented reality that include scientific applications, engineering environments, architectural designs, training activities, educational experiences, business analytics, and art spaces.
Featured applications will be demonstrated using a 26-projector immersive CAVE, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, a 180-degree immersion dome, and a variety of mobile devices.
The total tour experience will last approximately 30-45 minutes with four stops planned.
The free event is open to all: UALR faculty, staff, and students; professionals interested exploring virtual reality as a way to enhance their business model; and the general public who are interested in learning more about virtual reality. The Open House is designed to promote discovery, learning, and fun.
