DOE Commits $20M to Small Business Voucher Pilot Program

October 7th, 2015 by Sarah Ricard

The U.S. Department of Energy is accepting applications until Oct. 23 for the first round of its Small Business Vouchers Pilot program.

Through the voucher program, DOE will commit up to $20 million in technical and research assistance awards to help small businesses bring to life next-generation clean energy technologies. Companies may apply for and receive up to $300,000 in assistance from DOE national laboratories.

U.S. owned- and U.S.-based small businesses are eligible for the program, and companies receiving an award must commit to a 20 percent cost match, which can be in the form of labor.

Learn more about the SBV Pilot Program through a short webinar or at the State Science & Technology Institute 2015 Annual Conference during the session “Maximizing Your Capacity to Support Innovative Companies.” The conference will take place Oct. 26-28 in Oklahoma City.
