Don’t Miss These Open and Upcoming SBIR/STTR Funding Opportunities

8vo de enero de, 2018 por Rebecca Todd

Innovative Arkansas entrepreneurs are encouraged to explore open and future federal funding opportunities within the Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer program. Research projects need to align with agency-identified research topics to be considered for funding.

Companies and their project partners typically start in Phase I of the SBIR/STTR program to conduct the research and development necessary to prove viability of their concepts that demonstrate potential to solve agency-identified challenges in new and improved ways.

Fase I premios oscilan entre $100,000 y $225,000 depending on agency size and project performance periods are between six months and one year. In Phase II, awardees generally have a two-year project performance timeframe to develop prototypes while addressing any federal regulation requirements, conduct field, clinical or laboratory testing of their products or services, and obtain iterative prototype feedback from potential customers.
