Explore SBIR/STTR Program Through Free Online Course

New funding opportunities will soon be available within the Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the Department of Health and Human Services Small Business Innovation Research and the Small Business Technology Transfer programs.Currently, the National Science Foundation is open to new SBIR/STTR proposal applications.

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center offers a free, self-paced online course to introduce innovative entrepreneurs to SBIR/STTR.

Learn how the SBIR/STTR federal funding agencies solicit proposals, gain insights into the proposal preparation and evaluation process, and learn about intellectual property and accounting considerations through the “Get Ready” course.

If you register as a student, you can earn a certificate of completion. Unique badges are awarded after completing the quizzes for each section. Complete all four quizzes to receive the SBIR/STTR specialty badge.
