Fall SBIR/STTR Conference Heading to Austin

Technology entrepreneurs are encouraged to investigate the upcoming Fall National SBIR/STTR Conference, which will take place Nov. 11-13 at the University of Texas in Austin.

Hear from agency leaders within the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer program about how to successfully compete for this research and development funding to bring your ideas from concept to commercial market.

This year, the Fall National SBIR/STTR Conference will be held in conjunction with the Defense Energy Summit and Smart Cities Innovation Challenge. The summit will discuss building the foundation for a new Defense Energy Center of Excellence and ways to promote clean energy and infrastructure solutions for the Department of Defense.

Highlights of the conference will include:

  • Opportunities for one-on-one meetings with SBIR/STTR agency program managers;
  • Pre-event courses on must-know business basics for the SBIR/STTR program;
  • More than 20 panel sessions featuring agency managers, successful small firms, industry partners, and program experts from state and private sectors.
