Get Acquainted with SBIR/STTR with Free Webinars

The Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs provide critical early-stage funding for innovative products. Learn more about SBIR/STTR through upcoming live webinars hosted by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center.
“Introduction to the SBIR/STTR Program,” will cover the requirements for participation in SBIR/STTR and methods for assessing qualifying technologies and research projects as well as how to get started. The 10-11:30 a.m. program on May 12 is free, but pre-registration is requested. Register online
On June 2, another free webinar will delve into the National Institutes of Health’s approach to SBIR/STTR. The agency funds early-stage research and development for a wide range of commercializable innovations. Led by NIH’s Betty Royster, this live webinar will discuss preparing a winning SBIR/STTR proposal application, the peer-review process used by NIH reviewers, and common challenges.
