Homeland Security Seeks Small Business Research Proposals

Innovative Arkansas small businesses are encouraged to explore funding opportunities within the Department of Homeland Security’s FY 14.2 Small Business Innovation Research solicitation. This solicitation includes six DHS Science and Technology Directorate topic descriptions. Applicants must write a proposal that responds to one of these topic areas.

Phase I awards are up to $100,000 for six months. Phase I proposal evaluation criteria includes technical merit, staff qualifications and capability, potential for commercialization, and cost/price.

All proposals must be received by May 21, 2014. Interested applicants are encouraged to review the agency’s full solicitation.
