JONESBORO, Arca. – Familiar faces are taking on new roles at the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at Arkansas State University.
Laura Miller became the center director Jan. 1. Miller, former ASU ASBTDC lead business consultant, takes over for Herb Lawrence, who retired after 17 years with ASBTDC.
Miller has been with the center for 13 years and previously held the positions of training coordinator and lead business consultant. Miller received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Pittsburg State University. She became a Certified Business Advisor through the University of Toledo in 2008. She was honored by the national Association of Small Business Development Centers as the 2008 State Star for being an exemplary performer and making a significant contribution to the Arkansas SBTDC program.

Robert Bahn has been promoted to lead business consultant. He joined the ASU ASBTDC in November 2009 and became a Certified Business Advisor through the University of Toledo in 2012. Bahn is a graduate of ASU and worked in banking for more than 30 years before joining the center.
