NIH, CDC Release SBIR Contract Solicitation

August 27th, 2014 by Rebecca Todd

The National Institutes of Health  and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have issued a contract solicitation (PHS 2015-1) to request proposals for developing innovative technologies in biomedical and behavioral research. Phase I awards generally don’t exceed $150,000 for a six-month project performance period. Proposals are due Nov. 5.

Qualified applicants should note that the contract proposal forms are different from the SF424 grant application forms. Any small business that is interested in responding to this contract funding opportunity should provide the appropriate contracting officer(s) with early, written notice of intent. These notices should include the business and point of contact name, address, email, telephone and topic number.
