NIH Pilot Opens to SBIR/STTR Applicants
January 8th, 2018 by Rebecca Todd
Research-based companies interested in submitting new Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) applications or resubmissions by the April 5 deadline are encouraged to explore the Applicant Assistance Program (AAP) pilot.
Through Dawnbreaker, a third-party federal contractor, the National Institutes of Health have funded AAP to support new or previously unawarded SBIR/STTR applicants seeking funding through one of the following institutes:
• National Cancer Institute (NCI)
• National Institute for Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)
• National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI)
AAP applications for new SBIR/STTR proposals targeting NCI, NINDS or NHLBI are due Jan. 15.
AAP applications to support resubmissions of previously unawarded proposals are due Feb. 5.
Arkansas companies can request assistance through AAP in addition to Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center services. For assistance completing your AAP application, contact Rebecca Todd at email@example.com or 501.683.7700.
