NIH Seeks Electronic Cigarette Proposals
July 2nd, 2014 por Rebecca Todd
The National Institutes of Health’s National Institute on Drug Abuse recently opened a 1-topic contract solicitation for Small Business Innovation Research proposals on the topic “Development of a Standardized Electronic Cigarette for Clinical Research."
Phase I proposals are intended to prove feasibility of a proposed research effort related to this topic. Awards cannot exceed $225,000 para un período de ejecución del proyecto de ocho meses.
The deadline to submit responsive proposals is Siete. 30 en 4:30 p.m. EDT. Interested applicants are encouraged to review the full solicitation carefully, as it has been extensively rewritten to reflect changes of the SBIR/STTR reauthorization. Applications must be submitted by hard copy rather than the standard electronic submission through Grants.gov and eRA Commons, though applicants must still register their companies with the Small Business Administration’s SBIR company registry at sbir.gov/registration.
Arkansas-based companies can receive assistance with proposal development from the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center and are encouraged to contact Rebecca Norman at firstname.lastname@example.org or 501.683.7700.
