Reminder: National Science Foundation Open to SBIR/STTR Proposal Applications

April 6th, 2016 by Sarah Ricard

Don’t forget that the National Science Foundation is currently open to new SBIR/STTR proposal applications. SBIR Phase I proposals are due June 16 (solicitation), and STTR Phase I proposals are due June 20 (solicitation).

See How to Apply on the NSF website.

The article Start Planning Your National Science Foundation SBIR/STTR Proposal (Lab2Launch Jan. 27, 2016) covers eligibility, open and closed topics, and executive summary preparation.

Two NSF SBIR/STTR agency program managers are scheduled to attend the April 19 SBIR Road Tour: Dr. Glenn Larson (Educational Technologies and Applications topics) and Dr. Rajesh Mehta (Advanced Manufacturing and Nanotechnology). Be sure to complete a quad chart if you would like to meet one-on-one with either Dr. Larson or Dr. Mehta.

The ASBTDC hosted a webinar, “The NSF SBIR/STTR Program: Strategies for Success,” on April 4 led by NSF SBIR/STTR Program Director Dr. Ruth Shuman. Watch  recording.
