The 2016 SBIR Road Tour will visit 15 states, and the first stop will be Arkansas.

The nationwide tour comes to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on Tuesday, April 19. The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will host the free event, set for 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Reynolds Business Center. Innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and small technology-based companies are invited to participate.

This is a rare chance to hear details about SBIR/STTR programs directly from agency representatives and engage in one-on-one sessions with agency program managers to gather feedback on your project ideas. Don’t miss this opportunity!

The SBIR Road Tour is a national outreach effort to convey the non-dilutive technology funding opportunity provided through the Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs. The programs annually provide $2.5 billion in funding to small advanced technology firms to spur new technological discovery and facilitate commercialization of innovations.
