SBA Seeks Tibbetts Award Nominations

The Small Business Administration seeks nominations for its annual Tibbetts Awards through Nov. 14. Awards are for small businesses, individuals, and supporting organizations that exemplify the best in the Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer program. The award is named for Roland Tibbetts, founder of the SBIR program.
Nominated companies are evaluated based on technological innovation, business impact, broader social and economic benefits, and how they leveraged the SBIR/STTR program.
Individuals and support organization are evaluated based on unique, long-term service, creation and/or initiation of new programs or advocacy of SBIR. The nomination process is open to the public and self-nominations are allowed.
