SBIR.gov Offers New Tutorials
July 13th, 2016 by Rebecca Norman
Entrepreneurs with ideas for new research and development having potential to lead to marketable technologies may be candidates for funding through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) program. The official government site for this program, SBIR.gov, recently posted new tutorials to provide prospective applicants with key information about the program.
Ten courses are currently available, with topics ranging from Program Basics (introductory level) to SBIR Data Rights and Cybersecurity for Small Business (advanced level).
Several of the online tutorials offer three formats to share the same content:
- Multi-media (default option)
Optional quizzes are also available for each tutorial to offer users an enhanced learning experience.
At this time, the tutorials address requirements of the five largest agencies, namely those that participate in the STTR program. The next rollout of the SBIR/STTR online tutorials in March will include the rest of the agencies (11 total) as well as any updates to the program.
