Share New Medical Solutions with Army through NPI
April 22nd, 2015 by Rebecca Norman
The U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (USAMRMC) is seeking medical solutions for the battlefield with a focus on biomedical research, including military infectious diseases, combat casualty care, military operational medicine, medical chemical and biological defense, and clinical and rehabilitative medicine.
Its New Products and Ideas System (NPI) was developed to provide USAMRMC with awareness of new products and ideas that support its mission, either as currently configured or with additional development. Through the NPI, subject matter experts can assess these products and ideas, evaluate their applicability to USAMRMC’s mission, and provide feedback to the submitter. The system provides the vendor an opportunity to showcase a product or idea without traveling to Army headquarters and without giving anyone an unfair competitive advantage.
The USAMRMC’s mission is to provide medical solutions to protect and sustain the health and performance of the force across the continuum of military operations.
Note that the USAMRMC does not award contracts, provide research grants, or offer other forms of financial support through the NPI or the Concept Submission Program (CSP). Likewise, USAMRMC does not purchase or obtain programs, services or products through the NPI or CSP.
