Chad Hutson became the owner of Simple Simon’s Pizza in Star City with the assistance of the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center located at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
Hutson purchased the existing business this summer and celebrated with a grand opening on July 3.
Simple Simon’s Pizza came on the market just as Hutson was looking for a good reason to come back to the Star City area.
ASBTDC Center Director Stephanie Harton was there to help with business planning, financial projections, and market research.
“The assistance I received from the ASBTDC was a key component in making this purchase a reality. Stephanie helped guide me through this process every step of the way. I would recommend this free service to anyone wanting to buy a business,” said Hutson.
Hutson continues to work with Harton on marketing and other business needs.
Simple Simon’s Pizza is located at 500 South Lincoln in Star City.
