Registration, Refunds, Discounts, Accessibility, and Inclement Weather

ASBTDC Lead Center (UALR)

Registration and Fees: Advance registration and payment required and available online. Seminar fees may be paid by check, cash, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover only). (Please note: American Express not currently accepted by the Arkansas SBTDC.} Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class. Credit card payment can be made online or by phone but not at the training seminar. Cash, check, or money order made payable to UALR can be mailed or dropped off (3) days in advance to:

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another UALR-ASBTDC seminar within the current calendar year. If the ASBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by email and refunds will be issued.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of UALR may attend seminars at no cost.

ADA: In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, anyone requesting accommodations due to a disability should contact Shannon Roberts at 501.683.7700. Advance notice may be necessary for some accommodations. Request for interpreters should be made at least two weeks prior to the event to ensure interpreters are still available. Registration must be paid before requesting accommodations.

Inclement Weather Policy: Seminars will not be held if public schools in cities where seminars are scheduled are closed due to inclement weather. Check your local TV or radio stations for school closings.

 

ASU SBTDC

Registration and Fees: Seminar fees may be paid by check, cash, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class. Fee must be remitted no later than two working days before the actual seminar date unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 48 hours prior to seminar. Substitutes are welcome. If the ASU SBTDC cancels a seminar, all fees will be refunded.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of ASU may attend seminars at no cost.

Fee must be remitted no later than three working days before the actual seminar date unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another seminar within the current calendar year. If the ATU SBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by email and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another seminar within the current calendar year. If the HSU SBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by email and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of HSU may attend seminars at no cost.

SAU SBTDC

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If the SAU SBTDC cancels a seminar, all fees will be returned. Substitutes are welcome.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of SAU may attend seminars at no cost.

UA-Fayetteville SBTDC

Registration and Fees: Pre-registration is required for all events. Registration and payment are available online. Seminar fees may also be paid by writing a check to the UAF ASBTDC, money order, cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another ASBTDC seminar within the current calendar year. If the ASBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by e-mail and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar.  If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another ASBTDC  seminar within the current calendar year.  If the ASBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent to registrants by e-mail, and refunds will be issued.  Substitutes are welcome.

Discount Policy:  Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of UAM may attend seminars at no cost.

Smoking

Clean Air on Campus Act: Effective Aug. 1, 2010, smoking at any state-supported institution of higher education in Arkansas – including the seven campuses that host Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center offices – is in violation of the Clean Air on Campus Act of 2009. The state law applies to everyone on campus, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The penalty for violating the law is a fine not less than $100 or greater than $500.
