Registration, Refunds, Discounts, Accommodation, and Inclement Weather

ASBTDC Lead Center (UALR)

Registration and Fees: Advance registration and payment required and available online. Seminar fees may be paid by check, cash, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover only). Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class. Credit card payment can be made online or by phone but not at the training seminar. Cash, check, or money order made payable to UALR can be mailed or dropped off (3) days in advance to:

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another UALR-ASBTDC seminar within the current calendar year. If the ASBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by email and refunds will be issued.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of UALR may attend seminars at no cost.

Accommodation Policy: Reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities and individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact Pamela Reed at 501.683.7700.

Inclement Weather Policy: Seminars will not be held if public schools in cities where seminars are scheduled are closed due to inclement weather. Check your local TV or radio stations for school closings.

 

ASU SBTDC

Registration and Fees: Seminar fees may be paid by check, cash, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover). Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class. Fee must be remitted no later than two working days before the actual seminar date unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 48 hours prior to seminar. Substitutes are welcome. If the ASU SBTDC cancels a seminar, all fees will be refunded.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of ASU may attend seminars at no cost.

Accommodation Policy: Reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities and individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact Kelli Listenbee at 870.972.3517.

ATU SBTDC

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another seminar within the current calendar year. If the ATU SBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by email and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of ATU may attend seminars at no cost.

Registration and Fees: Seminar fees may be paid by check, cash, money order, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard). Fees must be paid in advance or at the time of the seminar, unless otherwise noted.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another seminar within the current calendar year. If the HSU SBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by email and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of HSU may attend seminars at no cost.

Accommodation Policy: Reasonable accommodation for persons with disabilities and individuals with limited English proficiency (LEP) will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact Chelsea Goza at 870.230.5184.

SAU SBTDC

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If the SAU SBTDC cancels a seminar, all fees will be returned. Substitutes are welcome.

Discount Policy: Subject to space availability, faculty, staff and students of SAU may attend seminars at no cost.

UA-Fayetteville SBTDC

Registration and Fees: Pre-registration is required for all events. Registration and payment are available online. Seminar fees may also be paid by writing a check to the UAF ASBTDC, money order, cash or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Payment must be received before your space is guaranteed in a class.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar. If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another ASBTDC seminar within the current calendar year. If the ASBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent by e-mail and refunds will be issued. Substitutes are welcome.

Refund Policy: Refunds are available on cancellations received up to 48 hours prior to seminar.  If a 48-hour cancellation notice is not received, seminar credit can be applied to another ASBTDC  seminar within the current calendar year.  If the ASBTDC cancels a seminar, notification will be sent to registrants by e-mail, and refunds will be issued.  Substitutes are welcome.

Smoking

Clean Air on Campus Act: Effective Aug. 1, 2010, smoking at any state-supported institution of higher education in Arkansas – including the seven campuses that host Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center offices – is in violation of the Clean Air on Campus Act of 2009. The state law applies to everyone on campus, including students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The penalty for violating the law is a fine not less than $100 or greater than $500.
