Business Specialist
Glenda Caton (SHRM-SCP) has more than 20 years of experience in operations, management, and human resources. She believes people are the heart of an organization and excels at helping small business owners achieve and maintain compliance in all areas of employee relations.
She seeks to create an extra layer of protection for the business and promote a culture of inclusion and retention.
Caton has helped businesses with handbooks, standard operating procedures and policies, benefits management, performance management, leadership and staff training, harassment investigations, onboarding and offboarding, development of employee relations programs and inclusion/diversity initiatives, and management of FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and ADA cases.
She holds an associate’s degree in Business Management and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on HR Management.
Caton is a member of the Central Arkansas Human Resource Association board and serves on the Society of Human Resources Managers (ARSHRM) State Council. She is a frequent speaker on topics such as diversity/inclusion, compliant recruiting and onboarding processes, anti-harassment policies, and many other employment compliance areas.
