Business Specialist
Elizabeth Young has spent the last decade assisting, educating, and advocating for small business and small farms in Arkansas and across the South.
She has worked with small farmers, farmers market vendors, and food entrepreneurs to develop operations, track financial profitability, increase production, and increase marketing channels. She enjoys leading businesses through minority and women-owned certification, state food regulations, agriculture certifications and audits, and federal assistance programs.
Young’s experience also includes personal small business ownership and a stint as director of the Arkansas Women’s Business Center, where she helped women-owned small businesses start, grow, and compete in markets by providing quality training, counseling, and access to capital and other resources.
An Arkansas native and University of Arkansas graduate, Young love all things outdoors, music, and family.
