The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is pleased to announce that four institutions of higher education are joining our network in 2021:
- Arkansas State University Mid-South
- Arkansas State University Mountain Home
- University of Arkansas at Fort Smith
- University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff
Each will host a new regional office, increasing access to ASBTDC services for Arkansans wanting to start, strengthen, or grow a business.
“We are thrilled to welcome each of these institutions to our network. Our long-time partnership with higher education is a proven delivery system for ASBTDC’s entrepreneurial and small business services, and these new offices will expand our reach into both rural and urban areas of the state,” said State Director Laura Fine.
“During the pandemic, our team has proven that we can deliver services virtually, and while we will continue to engage with small businesses in creative ways, we know that having a local, physical presence is important to building relationships, trust, and word-of-mouth referrals. I look forward to long and fruitful partnerships and building vibrant communities together.”
Searches are underway for directors of each center. To view current postings, see our Jobs page.
The additions will bring the number of ASBTDC offices in the state to 13.
