The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center is offering free classes and consulting on how to start a business at locations around Southeast Arkansas this fall.
Dmitri Scott from the ASBTDC Lead Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock will present the training. While there is no charge to attend, pre-registration is recommended.
— Tuesday, Sept. 26, Scott will lead a “Startup Crash Course” in Stuttgart from 3-6 p.m. This class will be held at the Cadence Bank, 412 S. Main St. Click here to register. Consulting office hours will be offered from 12-2 p.m. at the bank.
— Thursday, Oct. 12, Scott will lead a “Startup Crash Course” in Pine Bluff from 3-6 p.m. This class will be held at the Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Library System main library, 600 S. Main St. Click here to register. Consulting office hours will be offered from 12-2 p.m. at the library.
— Thursday, Oct. 26, Scott will lead “Starting a Side Hustle” in Helena from 5:30-6:30 p.m. This class will be held at the Delta Dirt Distillery, 430 E. Cherry St. Click here to register. Consulting office hours will be offered from 12-2 p.m. at the Phillips County Public Library.
The Startup Crash Course covers the essential components of starting a business in Arkansas and creating a business plan to guide your entrepreneurial journey.
Starting a Side Hustle will share different ways to start a side business and things new entrepreneurs need to know for your business to thrive.
