When a local frozen yogurt shop was for sale, Brett and Selena Barber of Jonesboro saw an opportunity.
They were confident that their marketing and sales backgrounds, along with a little TLC, could make the business, Local Culture, a success. The couple, who are A-State alumni, turned to the ASBTDC at Arkansas State University for information about purchasing a business and market research data on the industry and their target market.
The Barbers finalized the purchase of Local Culture in December.
