Four sessions focused on the customer will comprise the first STaR Institute at the Arkansas Hospitality Association’s annual Vendor Showcase and Convention. The showcase, the largest hospitality industry event in Arkansas, is Sept. 14-15 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will lead the educational sessions, which will be held in the mornings before the doors of the show open. STaR stands for “Strategic Training and Retention.”

Thursday, Sept. 15
8:30 a.m. – Boosting Business with Great Customer Reviews
9:30 a.m. – Making the Most of Pinterest and Instagram
Registration is available for the STaR Institute workshops and other showcase special events on the AHA website. There is no fee to participate in the STaR sessions.
Owners, operators, and employees of restaurants, hotels, motels, bed-and-breakfasts, travel attractions, and other hospitality-industry related businesses may attend the trade show.
