The Department of Defense has pre-released new Phase I and Direct to Phase II Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer research topics for its upcoming broad agency announcement. The full announcement will be issued on Jan. 14. Applications will be due on Feb. 12 by 7 p.m. CT. Participating components include:

Prospective applicants may engage topic authors directly to discuss their technical questions until Jan. 13. Once DoD begins accepting proposals on Jan. 14, applicants may submit written questions through the SBIR Interactive Topic Information System. In SITIS, the questioner and respondent remain anonymous and all questions and answers are posted electronically for general viewing.
