Move your startup forward by creating a business model canvas for your early concept. This includes a framework that focuses on discovering the customer problems in the space where your potential solution may live.
In addition, this course will help you develop a value proposition that fulfills your customers’ needs and differentiates you in the marketplace. Learn the basics of conducting customer discovery interviews and apply the techniques by completing interviews outside of class time.
Each participant will be encouraged to conduct fivecustomer interviews between each live session. Share your key findings in class and receive feedback to enhance and sharpen your ideas.
After completing this course, participants will be able to:
• Draft your business model canvas and value proposition canvas
• Conduct customer discovery interviews
• Gain feedback to determine next steps for your concept
Course facilitator is Ed Lahue, an innovation consultant in St. Louis with four decades of experience helping technology startups and established businesses expand their innovation efforts. He counsels and teaches on new business modeling, market research, and SBIR funding and has experience in consumer products, healthcare, and various industrial sectors.
