State Director
Laura Fine took the helm as state director in January 2017. She joined the Arkansas SBTDC in 1989 and has held management roles since 1992.
Previously, she was the associate state director, with responsibility for programmatic oversight of the ASBTDC network, contractual oversight of its regional offices, and grants management.
Fine holds a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Central Arkansas. She earned her master’s in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She previously worked for Levi Strauss & Company where she served as a trainer and special projects manager.
Fine previously served as a member of the Accreditation Committee of the national Association of Small Business Development Centers.
