The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will host the live webinar “Building a Resilient Supply Chain” at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 1.
There is no cost to participate. To register, go to tinyurl.com/supply-chain-webinar.
A supply chain is the network of vendors, transportation companies, and others that a company relies on to produce and distribute its goods.
The webinar will address what to do when a sudden disaster or pandemic, such as the onset of COVID-19, disrupts small business supply chains, operations, finances, or distribution and sale of products.
Dr. Naeem Bajwa will be the speaker. He is an associate professor in the Department of Management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and has a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Alabama.
With UA Little Rock since 2013, Bajwa previously worked in management and supply chain planning for Unilever Pakistan and Savola.
Bajwa will share tips and strategies that small businesses can implement to minimize disruption to their supply chain, cut cost, and improve cash flow. He will also discuss ways business owners can utilize data to make decisions and manage their supply chains.
The webinar is part of the center’s “Keep Calm and Small Business On” series launched in response to COVID-19. Find other upcoming ASBTDC events at asbtdc.org/asbtdc-events.
